St George's Dementia Support Group
The St George's Dementia Support Group will restart meeting in person on Monday 26th July 2021. All the dates for 2021, contact details and details of any guests are included in the 'Events' section of their website (click here).
We were all delighted when a large number of members of our churches, together with many others from the local community, got together and formed St George's Dementia Support Group, a fortnightly gathering for those living with dementia and their carers. Over plenty of hot drinks and biscuits, there is time for everyone to talk and get involved in a range of activities together, as well as space for carers to talk with and support one another, and sometimes hear from people involved in supporting those with dementia. There are plenty of special events throughout the year as well. There is always room for more customers, and more volunteers.
