Welcome to the Venta group of churches, serving the villages of Arminghall, Caistor St Edmund, Stoke Holy Cross and Dunston!

These are wonderful villages, and fantastic places to live, with Norwich and the main roads in easy reach, and some beautiful countryside and buildings - including the ones that belong to the churches. But our churches are most of all about the people who are part of them, and those whom we meet living our lives here, and everywhere that God might take us.

Like all groups of people, we are a mixture, and so in our different gatherings on Sundays and at other times we find different ways in expressing our faith in the same God, who has loved us, forgiven us, and given us new life and hope through Jesus our Lord. This faith encourages us to continue to grow towards God and one another as we share Jesus with our communities here.
Jesus is the God who serves, and we want his example to be the inspiration for the way we relate to the world around us. Often people connect with church at significant points in life - to mourn a loved one, or celebrate marriage or a new baby - but in all that we do we want to be of service to those around us. That's why you might see us joining in with litter picking, or organising community events for people to get together.

Faith isn't just something for particular reasons, though: following Jesus makes a big difference every day, and we are always happy to explain why that is. We always talk about our faith on a Sunday morning so you could have a look around the website and come and find us then, and we sometimes run courses for people who want to learn more. You might prefer to talk to somebody one to one, so if you don't know someone who belongs to one of our churches whom you can ask about it, there are plenty of contact details in other places on this website.
